Never attempt to work on gas appliances yourself. And don't let
anyone else who isn't qualified and Gas Safe registered do it
either. It won't save you money but it could cost you your
life.
Gas appliances left in a dangerous state can cause leaks, fires,
explosions and carbon monoxide poisoning.
According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in the UK, these
incidents killed 18 people in 2008/09 and injured 310 people.
